"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
Advocacy
Our chapter is committed to the betterment of our children's world. We are striving toward thoughtful and provacative advocacy projects. Please see below for descriptions of our current causes and what we are doing as a chapter to make the world better for every child.
Head Start Lending LibraryRecognizing the need for instilling a love for reading in children from a very early age, we are currently working with Head Start to create a lending library program for preschools in more economically challenged areas in Delaware County. This program would provide books that children can check out to read at home and return to the school when done. This is a free program both for the schools and the children.
